This workshop will teach food waste generators, haulers, processors, municipalities, businesses, and institutions how to start and promote a food waste recovery program.  Attendees will learn more about the material and potential contamination issues; how to reduce food waste; collection and handling best practices; container options; training; environmental benefits and why we all need to do this. Anyone that wants to learn more about starting a sustainable food waste program will benefit by attending this workshop.
