Hitachi Zosen Inova's (HZI) KOMPOGAS® technology pioneered the field of high solids anaerobic digestion, specializing in processing of municipal (OfMSW) and source separated organic waste (SSO), green and yard wastes. Since 1991, HZI developed a modular plant system meeting waste management requirements in terms of economics, efficiency and operational robustness. More than 75 high solids plants using the KOMPOGAS® process are operated successfully worldwide, producing renewable biogas. HZI offers complete EPC services for KOMPOGAS® systems as well as its own BioMethan® upgrading technology.
